I have had a bunch of her other songs on my running mix, so I finally added this one to the ipod today. Let me tell you, it is awesome to run to! Maybe because I love all old-school Madonna music, and this Lady Gaga song resembles Express Yourself? I don't know, but I listened to it twice during my 5k today - which, I might add, was outside, woot woot!!!!! Felt sooooo good to be outside instead of on that treadmill again. Warmer weather is coming, I know it :)

ReplyDeleteYes, you are right that Born This Way could almost be a clone of Respect Yourself, but darn it's still great. The lyrics are good which helps make it different and likeable despite the similarities.
